Dr Paul is a leading legal academic and practitioner in M?ori legal issues, environmental law, and marine governance. She holds a PhD in Law and has lectured extensively at the University of Canterbury, AUT, and the University of Waikato. Her published research explores maritime law (international and domestic), resource management law, marine law and how these areas of law intersect with tikanga M?ori and te Tiriti o Waitangi.
