Beth grew up in Hawera and started her legal career in January 1973 as an office junior and shortland typist. Beth qualified as a Legal Executive in and gained the status of “Fellow” in 2012. Beth has gained a wide work skill set after many years of work, particularly in the areas of Maori land and rural property- as well as trusts and general conveyancing. She enjoys dealing with clients and naturally has a developed a background knowledge of clients and their families over the years.

Notwithstanding their move to New Plymouth, Beth has a lifetime interest in swimming. She has been involved with Hawera and regional swimming for some 50+ years, and she and her husband and their daughter continue teaching swimming at all levels. Family, gardening, photography and travel (both local and overseas) remain high on her list of interests.
